About Us
Brad (Johnny B. Davis), founder of Johnny B. Electric, began his career in 1976 as an apprentice electrician for Ray Ellis Electric in Amarillo and continued there until 1981. This was a service/repair business. There he saw many ways electricians installed electrical work (both good and bad), and learned to troubleshoot, repair and retrofit.
In 1981 Brad obtained his journeyman’s license and went to work for A&J Electric in Amarillo. There he worked on new homes and new commercial projects.
In 1987 Brad then moved to Las Vegas, NV. And began working for Johnson Electric. There he moved up very quickly to Foreman and then to Superintendent. He supervised several track home projects ranging from 100-1200 homes and apartment jobs up to 600 units.
Brad moved back to Amarillo to be with family in 1992. This is when Johnny B. Electric was founded.
